Adaptability to Change

Yesterday, we had this seminar at office - an ophthalmologist came in and talked about some modern treatments for myopic people. At the end of his talk he had this quote on a power-point slide:

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change. - Charles Darwin

Of course, he put it up there to make a point that people ought to go for modern (and costlier - yeah, he did say that a lens implant could cost something like 1.5 Lakhs) treatment methods for better results. But then, in general, I felt really inspired by that quote. Thank you doc and Thank you Darwin!
